In 2022, CFC was contracted by the owners of Hilton – Carillon Park to design and install an EST 4 fire alarm system with selective evacuation capabilities for their beautiful and modern 9-story hotel located at 950 Lake Carillon Road, St. Petersburg, FL 33716.
As with any large-scale installation, this project had a unique set of challenges. Ensuring minimal disruption to the hotel’s daily operations and adhering to strict safety regulations were top priorities. Additionally, the EST 4 fire alarm system required precise installation of numerous components to achieve optimal performance.
The CFC team was able to efficiently navigate these challenges and complete the installation without impacting the hotel’s services. The EST 4 fire alarm system components installed included:
1. Fireman Phone
2. Voice evacuation system
3. 4 Signaling Line Circuits (SLC’s)
4. 1 Remote Annunciator
In total, the team installed and configured these components throughout the 9-story building, ensuring seamless integration with the existing infrastructure.
Upon completion, the EST 4 fire alarm system met all regulatory requirements and provided Hilton – Carillon Park with a reliable, state-of-the-art life safety solution. The selective evacuation feature allows the hotel to quickly and efficiently evacuate specific floors or areas in the event of an emergency, minimizing the impact on guests and staff.
The project was deemed a success, as CFC was able to deliver a cutting-edge fire alarm system tailored to the unique needs of the customer.
