At CFC we understand that to remain a leader in the fire safety industry we must continue educating, training, and certifying our employees to the highest standard. We strongly encourage all of our staff to build and continue their education in the fire safety industry by providing them the opportunity to gain accreditation with the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET). Not only do we offer our employees this valuable, industry-recognized certification by working with us, but we pay them throughout testing and training. We also provide all of our employees who wish to gain accreditation with mentoring and practice tests, ensuring that they feel as prepared as possible for the experience.
CFC Training Academy
On top of the support and encouragement for the NICET certification, CFC developed an in-house training academy to prepare and develop our team’s expertise in the field of fire safety services. We know it is important for job satisfaction to be well-equipped to handle any scenario in the field, so we train our team in a local facility to ensure this is the case. While we have a standardized training program that all of our employees undergo, we also realize that we are working in a constantly changing industry. To combat this, we update our training methods as fire safety and technology developments happen, ensuring that our professionals remain at the top of the industry in terms of knowledge and professional growth.
CFC participates in the ABC Florida Gulf Coast apprenticeship program. The purpose of this program is to develop a qualified, adaptable and safe workforce. We provide full tuition and support for qualified members of our fire sprinkler team to participate in this challenging but rewarding four year program. Throughout the apprenticeship students will receive on-the-job training through full-time work and also assistance from our mentors as they move through the sprinkler fitting program. Apprentices will graduate as well-trained sprinkler fitters ready to build a career within the fire safety industry.

As a full service fire protection and life safety contractor, we offer and support qualifying technicians in their pursuit of manufacturer specific training and certifications from our best in class vendors including EST, Honeywell, Lenel/S2, Milestone, Identicard, Top Door Alarm and others.
