Grow Your Career with CFC

Commercial Fire & Communications (CFC) is a fire protection and life safety systems contractor that services and installs fire alarms, fire sprinklers, and other life safety and security systems.
We are looking for talented people who want to grow with us and embody our values. CFC’s mission is to protect the lives and property of our customers through efficient, high-quality service and installations. CFC was founded in 1980. A lot has changed in the industry since then. One thing, however, has stayed the same: our commitment to providing the expertise you need and the customer service you want. As a result, more than 40 years later, our technicians have a well-deserved reputation as experts in the fire and life safety industry.

In the last four decades, technological advances have significantly changed the industry. To provide the same exceptional service, we understand that we must continue to invest in the professional development of our employees. That’s why we offer our employees access to meaningful industry-specific training opportunities. Employees can train and test for NICET certifications, giving them globally-recognized certifications.

To stay at the top of their game, we also provide employees vendor-specific certifications from EST, Honeywell, Lenel, and others. These training programs are essential for offering consistent, knowledgeable service and support for industry-leading fire alarm panels and systems. Technicians are able to fine-tune their skills in our state-of-the-art training facility, where we have a variety of panels available for hands-on use.

For fire protection employees, CFC partners with ABC Florida Gulf Coast to support the fire sprinkler apprenticeship program. This program does an excellent job training the next generation of skilled workers in the fire protection industry, growing the essential skills you need to master the service and installation of fire sprinklers. Over the course of the four years, employees become trusted experts in the field. In addition, graduates of this apprenticeship program enjoy substantially higher salaries due to the program’s 144 hours of rigorous classroom training and 2000 hours of on-the-job training.

We are proud to offer our employees a competitive benefits package. CFC offers competitive pay, paid time off, health insurance, and even 401k with match.

If you’re up to the challenge, careers in this high-demand field require skilled tradespeople. CFC has several openings for passionate, driven people ready to explore this fast-growing industry.
