Fire Alarms

Fire Alarms – Don’t Forget, Their Purpose Is To Save Lives!

Fire Alarms are required by law in many building types in Florida, based upon factors such as occupancy types, and square footage.   CFC regularly designs and installs systems for all applications, including such common applications as:

  • Elevators:  Fire alarm detectors are required as part of the fire control operation, and elevator modernizations may often require an upgrade of the fire alarm system.
  • Sprinkler systems:  Require remote monitoring, and a fire alarm system to perform that function.
  • Replacement Systems: In cases where the existing system no longer meets the code requirements, has become damaged, or obsolete, a replacement may be needed.

Design, engineered drawings, and permitting are prepared by our in-house design team.  With their expertise, all code requirements are addressed in the original design. Installation is then handled entirely by trained and certified CFC employees.

Inspections & Service

All fire alarms in Florida are required to be maintained and inspected by a qualified contractor on a regular basis in accordance with the NFPA standards.  CFC provides this service for thousands of commercial and institutional properties.  Your required inspections are tracked with a scheduling system that notifies you when they are due, and schedules the technicians for that task.  Contact us now for a written quote for this service.

Monitoring

Nearly all fire alarms are required to be remotely monitored by an approved monitoring service.  Having CFC provide this service as well as your inspections creates one point of contact for any alarm issues.  We can provide monitoring with or without the added expense of phone lines.  Contact us now for monitoring information and pricing.
